Gone fishing ... kind of.

Here at GWC we're off on a fact-finding mission to NYC for the rest of the week. Have you had a sighting of Godawful Wedding Crap? The people need to be told, and we will be forever in your debt. In the meantime, here's my current favorite caketopper to date - though there are some doozies to come. Thanks to a comment by Anonymous, I give you: Mermice! Mermice. Mermice in love. I'm almost certain they are mermice. Check out the little shells covering the bosoms of the mermouse bride. But Dorian would know for sure.

Once I hear a radio dedication from a man to his girlfriend in which he called her his "Princess . . . of the Sea." Which makes about as much sense as Mermice in Love. So, maybe the target market is Princesses . . . of the Sea.

There really are no other words for this...

I'm thinking that Mermice in Love would be a great name for a garage band.

Showed this to my dear fiance, he thought we should get one. But we're having pie instead of cake. Darn.

Okay....I really want Mermice in Love for my caketopper. Has anyone actually seen these for sell?

Hi Sruli B - you can buy mermice from Designs By Dorian - http://www.designsbydorian.com/ - so glad to see they will be used. Will you send a picture of the actual cake? would *love* to see it!

OMG, I kinda want this. It would totally go with our whole beach theme and leave people scratching their heads and wondering. Awesome.

This person besmirches my wonderful name. Goddamnit.

That is the funniest cake topper ever!
I got married last year and I was telling my makeup artist, best friend and sister about this, and we were all laughing for like 5 minutes.
And I emailed Dorian about it, and they don't carry that cake topper.
So sad. I would have loved to get it as a gift to my best friend.
