Have your big fat fabulous wedding on VH1

If your wedding budget includes spending over $300,000, the wedding date is between March and August of 2006 and you would love to share your life and wedding day with VH1, we'd love to hear from you.
You need to be over 21 to apply. Because a 20-year-old spending $300,000 on a wedding would be weird.

i think this show is something of an off-shoot of "My Super Sweet Sixteen" where the parties regularly cost about that much (i can't even speculate on what warped parenting could endorse that...) but i would bet the age limit is probably so they can film (production's fingers crossed) drunken bridal hijinx.

I'm not even sure how people spend this much on one event! Or I didn't know until I found this blog and started seeing all the scary junk companies are trying to convince brides are necessary.lhihn

I disagree completely with loveh h. I think that these couples wanted to have this big wedding to celebrate this big day. Some may be spoiled, but others just wanted to have the best wedding possible... I appreciate these people who want to show their wedding ideas on national television. I agree with you that it is ridiculous in people's eyes who dont have the money. If you have the money.........WHY NOT!!

I agree with all of you, but again i believe some are doing this for the right reasons...rather than just showing off. =

This show is just retarded.....the one ep where the moron blows 1.15 mil on a wedding? pointless, like the show....but hey, reality tv is where it's at, Americans are just plain stupid.

I agree with Wedding. Some are doing it for the right reasons. If they have the funds to spend so extravagantly for their special day, why shouldn't they? If u Lovely H and everyone else had the type of money they had you would probably do the same thing. I mean no one will force you to watch the shows, but I think its lovely that they are getting married so I see no reason to complain about the amounts they spend.
