Wedding cake in Her own image

Chidi Ogbuta of Allen, Texas, had a wedding cake made to look exactly like herself. I wouldn't feel so comfortable watching my new husband slice into me with a knife. Many thanks to Agent Lowe for the tip.

That is one weird frickin' cake and one narcisstic bride.

i can't believe that! talk about putting yourself on a pedestal! where is the love, man? i hate brides who think a wedding is about them them them!!!!!!!
grrrrrrrrrrrrr

great blog by the way!

the bride is, i believe, of Nigerian heritage, and the idea of having the bride represented in the wedding cake is taken from a Nigerian wedding tradition. Still some hubris going on but it's rooted in something deeper than that.

Someone emailed me a picture of that cake, and all I could think about was the fact that the bride would soon be decapitated.. not a pretty image

Did anyone mention the fact that her dress looks like she vomited down the front of it? Yuck!

Hm, giant image of myself that's made of cake...Crap, I may have to do this. Then I could eat myself in front of all my friends and family!

That is more than just a little bit ridiculous. It's awful!

But on the artsy side, it was a very well done cake.

Whats really gross is the sunflowers all over her wedding dress too.. I love the brides expression (Like, "Ugh, I look like a man there" lol)^^

Uhm, this woman is from Nigeria and this has to do with her culture and not so much just being a narcissist. Please be a bit less xenophobic and a bit more open minded. I'm sure many things we do would look weird or awful if they are taken out of our cultural context.

Hello everyone!
I would like to burn a theme at here. There is such a thing, called HYIP, or High Yield Investment Program. It reminds of financial piramyde, but in rare cases one may happen to meet a company that really pays up to 2% daily not on invested money, but from real profits.

For quite a long time, I make money with the help of these programs.
I'm with no money problems now, but there are heights that must be conquered . I get now up to 2G a day , and my first investment was 500 dollars only.
Right now, I'm very close at catching at last a guaranteed variant to make a sharp rise . Turn to my blog to get additional info.

The moment possibly man unequivocally commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things hit to supporter one that would not ever way have occurred. A whole run of events issues from the settlement, raising in harmonious's favor all style of unhoped for incidents and meetings and information help, which no homo sapiens could entertain dreamed would be suffering with come his way. Whatever you can do, or hallucination you can, open it. Boldness has mastermind, power and voodoo in it. Begin it now.

When I looked at the cake, before I saw their names, I KNEW they were Nigerian. The cake looks like a corpse. This is the kind of stuff they do. Ridiculous.
